How much longer?
How much longer will I have to stay near the computer and check various sports Web sites until I see that Indians Manager Eric Wedge has finally been fired?

I know that I'm probably in the minority here, but I'm one of the few that doesn't believe Wedge should be fired. Granted, the bullpen is an absolute mess, but it's not Wedge's fault that he has no viable options.
Carmona and Hafner have imploded, and although DeRosa has been solid (and will bring back something trading him away), the Tribe probably would have been better off simply not acquiring him and keeping the players they dealt.
Add to that the players that haven't developed enough, or never did (Barfield, Cabrera, Peralta, Francisco). I may actually put more of the blame on Shapiro.
The Indians suffer from what happens to many pro teams, especially successful ones. Professional athletes are more concerned about themselves, or all the excesses assoctiated with the game, more than even salary, not about the game itself. Ask yourself, how many baseballs or bats have you used growing up and in adulthood compared to how many are used in one professional game. Wedge is too much a "pro", not enough of an overall baseball person.
Wait...and now they trade Michael Aubrey for nothing? That worked really well the last time they traded a former prospect for nothing. Reds fans worldwide thank you again for Brandon Phillips just like I'm sure O's fans will be thanking you for Michael Aubrey, who is nearly certain to replace Aubrey Huff later this season.

Yep, definitely on Shapiro.
